| Upper Klamath National Wildlife Refuge
Rocky Point Resort fronts on the Upper Klamath National Wildlife
Refuge, a year round haven for waterfowl and other wildlife. Otters, mink,
raccoons, deer and a host of other wildlife can be observed in this scenic
area. The majestic bald eagle is master of the sky, thrilling visitors
with their shrill cry as they swoop downward to snare trout from the
lake.

Upper Klamath is the largest lake in Oregon covering an area of 133 square miles, approximately 28 miles long. Nearly ten miles of canoe and kayak trails lace waterways through the National Wildlife Refuge that lies just off the docks at Rocky Point Resort. Sail boating is popular on the body of the lake. Sailboats and other watercraft are frequent visitors to the Resort where overnight berthing is available. |
